On Wednesday 19th of August 2026, we will be officially switching our online request system over from Ask My GP to our new system, Accurx.
Our goal is to make it much quicker and simpler for you to contact us online. Focusing on this new platform also helps us keep the phone lines free for patients who cannot use online services.
A few key things to know:
🔍 Outstanding requests: If you have an open request in AMGP, please do not worry. We are still working through them as normal, even after the transition.
📞 We are still on the phone: If you need to call us, so long as we are open, we will always be available via the telephone.
⚖️ A fair system for everyone: To make sure everyone is treated fairly, we use the exact same process for every patient. If you call or use the online service, your request will be triaged according to clinical urgency.
Ask My GP will close to new requests on Tuesday the 18th of August 2026 at 18:30. From Wednesday the 19th of August 2026, Accurx will be our single online system.
