Repeat Prescriptions

To ensure the best possible knowledge of your personal health, these will be signed by your usual GP wherever possible.

You may order by filling out a request slip and place your order in the request box at the surgery reception.

Alternatively order online via the link at the top of this page. To use the SystmOnline service, you will need to register in person at the surgery and request a SystmOnline username and password.You cannot register for this service online because we will need to verify your identity. You will need a driving licence, passport etc.

Please note We do not take prescriptions over the telephone

Prescriptions will be available for collection within 48hours.

Medication Reviews

Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip.

Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.

Prescriptions Charges and Exemptions

Extensive exemption and remission arrangements protect those likely to have difficulty in paying charges (NHS prescription and dental charges, optical and hospital travel costs).

The NHS prescription charge is a flat-rate amount which successive Governments have thought it reasonable to charge for those who can afford to pay for their medicines.  Prescription prepayment certificates (PPCs) offer real savings for people who need extensive medication.
